We have reached the Final Four of the 2013 NCAA Tournament and the odd man out in the group is none other than No. 9 Wichita State.

To no fault of their own, the Shockers are automatically labeled as a "Cinderella Story," although they really shouldn't be. Wichita State has been a proven team all season long and with four tournament victories in the bag, they have reached 30 on the season.

Wichita State advanced to the Final Four by knocking off Pittsburgh, Gonzaga, LaSalle and Ohio State, in that order. The Shockers took out the top two seeds in the West Region, advancing to the Final Four with just as much momentum as any other team.

This year's trip to the Big Dance marked the program's second consecutive appearance under head coach Gregg Marshall, but there's no doubt that this has been a run to remember for the Shockers. After losing four starters and their top five scorers from a season ago, Wichita State was looking to "rebuild." Well, a number of newcomers and JUCO transfers have quieted that speculation and now Wichita State has found themselves in their first Final Four since 1965.

So at this point in the year, with all the wild finishes that this NCAA Tournament has had, why can't Wichita State win it all?

Let's take a look at five reasons why the Shockers can cut down the nets on Monday.

Wichita State has the best nickname of the four teams remaining in this year's bracket. The "Shockers" are looking to make a little more noise in Atlanta and "shock" the college basketball world.

They can start making that statement by truly shocking the college basketball world with a Final Four upset over the field's top overall team -- Louisville.

No. 4- Proven Ability to Pull Upset

Wichita State has already claimed victory over No. 1 Gonzaga and No. 2 Ohio State, so opponents are well aware of their "giant-killer" capability. We've reached the Final Four now, so there shouldn't be any team taken lightly, let alone the Shockers.

No. 3- Offensive Weapons

From Cleanthony Early to Carl Hall, the Shockers have players. Ron Baker can light it up from the outside, while point guard Malcolm Armstead has shown his own ability to score the basketball in bunches. Wichita State has the balance to win it all in Atlanta.

No. 2- Nothing to Lose

Nothing to Lose

Nobody expected the Shockers to qualify for the Final Four, so the bottom line is this -- what do they have to lose? The Shockers have been playing with "up-in-the-air" expectations this entire tournament, so now that they have reached this point, what would have changed? Wichita State has nothing to lose because nobody expects them to be crowned champions.

No. 1- Gregg Marshall

Gregg Marshall is one of the hottest names in coaching and not just because of this year's run to the Final Four. Marshall has been wanted by teams across the country in each of the past couple of off-seasons, but the Shockers' head man is seemingly comfortable where he is. Long story short, Marshall can coach and he is the top reason why Wichita State can win it all.
