Indiana Hoosiers Will Look Way Different In 2013-14 College Basketball Season

Despite not winning a national championship, the Indiana Hoosiers had a great year and were arguably the best team during the regular season, but this Hoosiers team will be completely difference for the 2013-14 college basketball season.

Jordan Hulls and Christian Watford were both seniors and Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller both declared for the NBA. The loss of those four players is huge for Indiana and will definitely hurt the depth of this team.

Two players that will remain in a Hoosiers uniform though is Will Sheehey and Yogi Ferrell. However, Indiana did have a good recruiting class last season and it had another good one this season. There will be three spots in the starting lineup that these players can play for, along with everyone else on Indiana’s team.

Ferrell will definitely run the point, though, and Sheehey could very well be the go-to guy next season. He will at the very least be a starter and have a bigger role on this team.

Ferrell averaged 7.6 points per game and 4.1 assists per game as a freshman. Sheehey put up 9.5 points per game and he will be entering his senior season.

Although Indiana will be a completely different team next season, don’t feel too bad for them. This is a school that will attract some of the best recruits for awhile and it does still have two very sold players that played significant minutes this past season. However, it will be weird not seeing Hulls, Oladipo, Zeller and Watford in a Hoosiers uniform anymore.
