With the newly-released ACC schedule now out for the public to start breaking down to the point of nausea, one has to wonder — why are there 56 billion teams in the conference? Thanks to the Maryland Terrapins not being long for the ACC, however, the league will get smaller shortly. No, it won’t drop them to 55 millions teams, but to be much more inaccurate, 54,999,999 (I am kidding).

Regardless if you care or not what Maryland does in the future, you will still want to know how their schedule looks for the 2013-14 season if you are a fan of the ACC. Not all games in the league are going to consist of home-and-homes. Some of them will be just away or home games as well.

Let us start with who Maryland will battle it out in the home-and-home series. The Terps will face the Florida State Seminoles, Pittsburgh Panthers, Virginia Cavaliers and Virginia Tech Hokies.

As for who they will attempt to beat strictly on their home court, Maryland will square-off against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Miami Hurricanes, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Syracuse Orange and Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Finally, who they will face only at the opponents’ home court will be the Boston College Eagles, Clemson Tigers, Duke Blue DevilsNorth Carolina Tar Heels and North Carolina State Wolfpack.

So there you have it. That is the conclusion of your wonderful glimpse of the Terrapins’ 2013-14 ACC schedule. What does your crystal ball tell you about what their record will be for next season?
