The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are going to be starting a new journey next season. Being that they are one of the most ballyhooed universities in all the land, yeah, it is a big deal that the 2013-14 season will be their first in the ACC.
Since there is already a slew of other big-time programs in the conference, the league already had its share of yearly powers battling out. Now with the Irish joining the mix, even more power teams will face each other in ACC-play.
Since there is going to be approximately eleventy-thousand teams in the league next year, not every team is going to play each other twice. Some will be home and homes, others just home games and finally a few just on the road. Let us take a peak shall we?
Considering the ACC is one of, if not the toughest basketball leagues in all the country, Notre Dame does have their work cut out for them. Although, it is not as if they are coming from some cupcake basketball league or anything. To be fair though, ACC play is much different than the brand of basketball that was played in the Big East Conference.
