4-Star Highlights Seton Hall Pirates' Recruiting Class

The Seton Hall Pirates will not be getting Andrew Wiggins. Although that is not a fact, it might as well be, since it is not going to happen. That simple. However, the Pirates do have a 4-star recruit that will be joining the team in the 2013-14 college basketball season.

Jaren Sina is not the highest rated recruit coming into college hoops next season, but he is at least rated in the top 100, according to ESPN. The other two players joining the team will be a 3-star and a JUCO player. Who knows how any of these three will do, or what their roles will be on the team, but Sina definitely highlights this recruiting class for Seton Hall.

Sina plays at the point guard position and it would be great if he could make an instant impact for the team, if he is given the playing time to to show off his talents. One thing is for sure, and that is the fact that Seton Hall could definitely use a great season out of Sina–once again if he gets a lot of playing time–since the Pirates did finish the 2012-13 college basketball season with a 15-18 record. However, it is the 3-15 Big East record that really sums up Seton Hall’s season, which was disappointing.

Seton Hall has not made the NCAA Tournament in a few years and who knows when the next time they will. Hopefully for this team, its new 4-star recruit can help them to achieve this goal, but there is still a long ways until the season even starts.
