Florida Gators To Add Chris Chiozza To 2014 Recruiting Class

The Florida Gators have a pretty solid recruiting class coming into the 2013-14 college basketball season (two 5-stars), but it is never too early to start planning ahead. As a result, the Gators will already be getting a player for their 2014 recruiting class. Chris Chiozza will be joining the Gators.

There were plenty of powerhouse schools after Chiozza, including Memphis, Ohio State, Connecticut and others, according to CBSSports.com.

Coach Billy Donovan has done wonders for this program ever since joining the team. He has already won two national championships and Florida has made three straight Elite Eights. Not too shabby for a school that takes a backseat to the Kentucky Wildcats.

Chiozza is a guard and a lot can happen now and until he actually joins the team in 2014, but right now it would look like he would start his career off on the bench, since a 5-star point guard is apart of Florida’s recruiting class this year. However, Kasey Hill could easily be a one-and-done player. Like I said, though, that is a really long time from now, so it is pointless to start analyzing how Chiozza will fit into the Gators’ system.

Still, this is a good addition for Florida and it is the first recruit for this school for 2014. Many more are most likely on the way, since we are talking about the Gators here.
