As expected, Andrew Wiggins made his decision today and he will be the newest addition for the Kansas Jayhawks. Although his college hoops tenure will likely only last a year, who cares, because what a year that will be. Wiggins will definitely be the big man on campus for Kansas in the 2013-14 college basketball season.

When you are the No. 1 recruit in the nation, you can take as long as you want to decide where you are going to play. That is exactly what Wiggins did.

Some people wanted him to go to Florida State, while others wanted him to play for John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats. Well, none of that matters now, since Wiggins will be rocking the Kansas blue.

Wiggins has the talent to be the best player in college basketball next season and the No. 1 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, hence why his decision was such big news today. Wiggins could very easily be the most talked about high school player since LeBron James. I am sure Wiggins hopes he will have similar success to King James when he does jump to the next level.

It is always amazing how a player can be regarded as the best player in college hoops and as the future No. 1 pick, without playing a single minute in college. However, some people make their money by knowing things of that nature.

The stage is set for Wiggins. He will play for one of the best programs in college basketball and if he lives up to his hype, we may be seeing something very special next year.
