Miami Hurricanes' Kenny Kadji's Draft Stock

Shane Larkin may be the best Miami Hurricane entering the 2013 NBA Draft, but that does not mean that he is the only good Hurricane out there. There is also Kenny Kadji. Let’s go ahead and take a look at his draft stock.

Larkin is picked to go higher than him, but he is still projected to get picked up in the draft. However, his draft stock is fluctuating quite a bit from site to site. Some mock drafts are saying that Kadji will get picked up in the mid second round and others are saying that he will go pretty late in the second round.

Kadji was clearly a great basketball player this past season, averaging 12.9 points per game and 6.8 rebounds per game. As a result, I think he should go in the mid second round, but who knows until his name is actually called.

He is listed at 6’11”, but he can surprisingly shoot the long ball. Kadji made 47 threes on the year at a 35.1 percent clip. If he can continue this trend at the next level, Kadji could really do some damage in the scoring department.

His 1.3 blocks per game weren’t the most in college hoops, but that is still a pretty good number regardless.

Kadji bounced around in college basketball, starting his career off at Florida and then transferring to Miami after two seasons. Who knows what state he will end up in for the NBA, but he definitely is talented enough to get drafted by someone.
