Duke Blue Devils’ Rasheed Sulaimon and Jabari Parker Will Be Best Duo In ACC
The Duke Blue Devils will be loaded with talent in the 2013-14 college basketball season. I bet you have heard that a time or two when reading up on Duke. Well, two of these talents will be Rasheed Sulaimon and Jabari Parker, who will make up the best duo in the ACC in the upcoming season.
Sulaimon and Parker may have completely different playing styles, but players don’t necessarily have to be peanut butter and jelly to make up a great combo.
Sulaimon will be a threat from anywhere on the court and he will likely have a huge season for Duke. With Seth Curry no longer on the team, Sulaimon will be the new shooter for the Blue Devils. He did average 11.6 points per game in his freshman season, while shooting 42.4 percent from the field and 37.1 percent from behind the arc.
As for Parker, he is apparently the No. 2 recruit for the 2013 class and has a great offensive game. It will definitely help in college hoops that he stands at 6’8”.
Although Duke will have other talented players on its team, these two will enter the season with the most hype and have the most upside to them.
If Parker can have an instant impact like many people are predicting and if Sulaimon can step up into a leadership role, the Blue Devils will once again be able to win an ACC championship, earn a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament and challenge for a national championship.
Sure, Duke is losing three senior starters, but the future is looking very bright for this team–like always–and Sulaimon and Parker will be the best duo in the ACC in the upcoming season.
