The Arizona Wildcats have put together some pretty good teams over the years, they have had very high expectations to say the least and they have also disappointed. So, could this be the year that Arizona finally wins a national championship?

The 2013-14 college basketball season will be filled with plenty of great teams–like always–but the Wildcats will likely enter the season with a top five ranking.

Some very talented players will no longer be on the team, but the incoming freshmen are receiving a lot of hype and there will be some great players returning to the team, like Nick Johnson, who should be the go-to guy, since the two players that scored more than him this past season are no longer on Arizona.

The Wildcats definitely have the team to walk away with a Pac-12 title, but UCLA and Colorado will challenge them.

Kentucky and Louisville should be the favorites to win a title, but like I said before, Arizona will enter the season with a top five ranking, unless if something crazy happens now and until the college hoops season actually begins.

Sean Miller has had some very good recruiting classes over the years, but the Wildcats haven’t necessarily been the best team in the nation as a result. However, we saw the team go undefeated in its non-conference schedule this past season and that very well could be the case in the upcoming one.

The Wildcats have not won a national championship since 1997. The pieces to win one will be there in the upcoming season, so will this team finally win another title? Like usual, time will tell.
