There is a very good chance that Duke Blue Devils’ Seth Curry does not get drafted in the 2013 NBA Draft. Still, he could be a steal late in the second round.
Curry is definitely not getting as much hype as his older brother did when he declared for the NBA, but so what.

Curry really was not the greatest player in the world in his first couple of seasons with Duke–still good though. However, he was one of the best shooters in the nation in his senior year. Yes, the nation. He did shoot 46.5 percent from the field and 43.8 percent from behind the arc. Not to mention, he drained 95 threes on the year. I don’t see why he is not getting more hype.
He averaged 17.5 points per game for one of the best teams in college basketball, after only scoring 13.2 points per game just a season ago. For what it’s worth, he also shot 80.9 percent from the charity stripe. To say that he is an all-around good shooter is a huge understatement.
Who knows if he will ever be as good as his older brother, but he doesn’t have to be. His 6’2” height is not the tallest in the world, but he can learn how to play the point guard position and he can always be a reliable shooter.
Being a Curry doesn’t guarantee success, but it definitely helps, at least when you come from this family. Curry might not get drafted, but after watching him play for Duke the past couple of years and looking at his stats, he very well could be a steal late in the second round or even a great pickup after the draft.
