The Saint Louis Billikens are coming off of a 28-win season and an appearance in the 2013 NCAA Tournament. As a result, experience will be key for this team in the 2013-14 college basketball season.
Saint Louis will have enough talent to compete in the Atlantic 10 next season, however, it will be losing some key players. Still, any time a team wins as many games as the Billikens did, wins the regular season title and conference tournament and makes it to the Big Dance and also wins a game, plenty of experience is formed.

That is especially the case when a team like Saint Louis gets its best player back and other players, as well.
Although Saint Louis won the A 10 last season, VCU will likely be the team to beat in the conference in the upcoming season. However, the Rams did not win a regular season title or a conference tournament last season. The Rams may have more players coming back, but the Billikens have the experience of winning a conference title.
It should be a great race in the conference regardless, but Saint Louis is still going to have a great basketball team and it would be a shocker if it did not make the dance once again. Winning the A 10 may be a little tougher with the loss of some players, but there are a couple of really good teams that will no longer be part of the conference.
Regardless, it is going to be all about the experience in the 2013-14 season for the Billikens.
