Will the Wisconsin Badgers Compete For A Big Ten Title?

The Wisconsin Badgers may not be the flashiest team in the Big Ten on a yearly basis, but they always seem to compete for a conference title. The 2013-14 college basketball season will be no different.

Losing a couple of players, such as Jared Berggren will hurt, but the leading scorer Ben Brust will be back along with some other talent.

However, it is Sam Dekker that should have every Wisconsin fan raving. He was a freshman last year and managed to average 9.6 points per game and 3.4 rebounds per game in just 22.3 minutes per game. He has range out to the three-point line and he could be one of the best players in the Big Ten in the upcoming season.

Bo Ryan will be the head coach once again, which is clearly good news for the Badgers. Ryan always gets the most out of his players and he puts together great basketball teams on a yearly basis.

Although the team may look a little different in the 2013-14 season, Wisconsin will easily be good enough to compete for a conference title. This team only finished two games back in the standings last year, which is pretty good for a team that did not start off the year all that well.

Michigan State, Michigan and Ohio State may be getting a lot of buzz, but the Badgers should be included in the conversation with those three teams. Regardless, it should be another crazy season in the Big Ten, where the champion could really be a number of different of teams.
