Cincinnati Bearcats Will Benefit By Playing In AAC In Upcoming Season
The Bearcats have to be thrown into that mix for competing for a conference title, though. Leading scorer Sean Kilpatrick will be back, which will be huge. Kilpatrick put up 17 points per game this past season and he will easily be one of the best players in the AAC.
Cincinnati is coming off of a 22-win season and an NCAA tournament appearance. With that said, the team will be losing some talent, so this will not exactly be the same team we saw last year.
The competition will still be tough at the top of the conference and Louisville will be good enough to repeat as national champions, but Cincinnati will definitely have it a lot easier by playing in the new AAC. Now it is time to see how Kilpatrick will play in his senior year and whether or not if he can lead this team to a great season.
Whether the case, an NCAA tournament appearance is certainly not out of the question and no one should count out the Bearcats in the AAC.
