Will Mike Moser go back to his old ways for the Oregon Ducks in the 2013-14 college basketball season or will he have a disappointing season once again? Whether the case, he will be an intriguing player in the upcoming season.

Moser’s stats aren’t even worth talking about from last season.

Two seasons ago, though, he averaged a double-double in points and rebounds. He is the type of player that can turn a good team into a great team–when he is on his game.

Moser coming to Oregon should be exciting for everyone involved with the Ducks, whether that be players, coaches, fans or whoever.

He has lottery pick talent when he is at his best, but as we saw last season, that was clearly not the case.

Oregon is losing a bunch of players in the 2013-14 season, yet it will have enough talent to make the dance once again. However, Moser could and should be the most important player on this team.

I am sure he will be a starter once the season starts and I am sure that the team is expecting him to be the player that averaged 14 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game–maybe even better.

He is young, talented and he returned for his final season in college hoops for a reason. That reason is likely to improve his draft stock, have a great year and win a national championship. Of course, that is all just speculation.

Still, he has the chance to do all of those things in the upcoming season–winning a championship would be a surprise though. Regardless, he is an intriguing player to say the least.
