I hope we are all clear on the fact that Sean Kilpatrick is the best player on Cincinnati. He did kind of lead the team last season with 17 points per game and grabbed 5.2 boards per game.
Anyways, with two players leaving who averaged 10+ points per game, the Bearcats will count on Kilpatrick quite a bit on the offensive side of the ball. As a result, we can expect Kilpatrick to have a monster season once again when it comes to him putting the ball into the hoop. Scoring more than 17 points per game will be tough, but Cincinnati may need him to if it plans on winning a conference title.
We can also count on Kilpatrick leading his team to the NCAA tournament and leading his team to a top four finish in the standings. No other player on this team is as important as Kilpatrick. If he doesn’t come to play in the 2013-14 season, Cincinnati is in serious trouble.
However, he returned for his senior year for a reason and he will do work all season long–on the basketball court that is. Kilpatrick is going to have a great season and we can expect him to be one of the best players not only in the AAC, but college hoops as well. Heck, what can we not expect from Cincinnati’s star in the upcoming season?
