Hopefully A Year of Disappointment Was All the Seton Hall Pirates Needed
No, this team will not make a dramatic change on the roster, which will likely not result in a dramatic change on the basketball court, but you never know.
Seton Hall is basically bringing back every player. However, losing Aaron Cosby does hurt some since he was the second leading scorer on the team.
But hey, at least the leading scorer is returning in Fuquan Edwin, and Eugene Teague will also be bask. Edwin put up 16.5 points per game and 5.8 rebounds per game last season and Teague averaged 11.2 points per game and 7.2 rebounds per game.
Both have another year of experience on their belts and both will be really important to the team in the upcoming season. Experience means a lot in college hoops and that is what Seton Hall has going for it in the 2013-14 season.
With that in mind, the Pirates will still play in the Big East Conference, which means bad news for the team.
One bad season can really turn a team around, though. It can also start a downward trend that no one wants to see. For the Pirates, I am going to say that one bad season is all that they needed. They will not win the Big East or anything like that, but they should finish with a better conference record than 3-15.
Bouncing back from that type of season is never an easy thing, but Seton Hall will improve instead of finishing with an even worse record.
