Ralston Turner

The North Carolina State Wolfpack basically return nobody from last year’s team other than T.J. Warren. However, a very talented player will be joining the Wolfpack in the 2013-14 college basketball season and that is former LSU Tiger Ralston Turner.

In the 2011-12 season, Turner put up 9.1 points and three rebounds per game. He shot 37 percent from the field and 37.2 percent from behind the arc. His 51 made threes were pretty solid and North Carolina State will need him to be just as effective in the upcoming season.

Turner should start right away for the Wolfpack, but we will have to wait and see if that will actually be the case. Considering that NC State will be losing so much talent, the team will look much different.

This is a team that will need all the leadership it can get and hopefully Turner can help in that department.

North Carolina State was expected to challenge for a national championship last season, but made the NCAA tournament as a No. 8 seed and lost in its very first game of the dance. Unfortunately, the Wolfpack will be lucky to dance in the 2013-14 season and they are in that whole rebuilding process.

The team will welcome a pretty good recruiting class, and Turner being able to take the court is huge. He should be one of the best players on the team and he has the talent to really shine for NC State.

He was a good player for LSU, but he certainly has the skills to be a great player for the Wolfpack.
