One Team the Connecticut Huskies Cannot Overlook In Upcoming Season
That team would be the Harvard Crimson. Harvard made the NCAA tournament last season as a No. 14 seed. It ended up losing to the Arizona Wildcats in the third round, but not before the upset against the No. 3 New Mexico Lobos.
Connecticut is going to have a very good team in the 2013-14 season and it will challenge Louisville for an AAC title. Shabazz Napier will be one of the best players in the conference and it would not be a surprise if he scored more than 17.1 points per game.
The Crimson have made the Big Dance the past two seasons and they will be no joke in the upcoming one. With the talent that they have, it would not be a surprise if they did beat the Huskies.
Connecticut will be on the rise in the upcoming season and should return back to form–a top 25 team and a national title contender–while Harvard very well could be the most underrated team in the country. It should be ranked to start the season and it should make the NCAA tournament for the third straight year.
As a result, I would hope that the Huskies would not overlook Harvard and I am sure they will not. Whether the case, this should be a great regular season matchup between two teams that are worthy of being ranked in the top 25 to start the 2013-14 college hoops season.
