Mitch McGary was great for the Michigan Wolverines in the 2013 NCAA Tournament and he was a big reason why the team made it all the way to the national championship game. With that in mind, he will average a double-double in the 2013-14 college basketball season.
McGary averaged 19.7 minutes per game last season. He also averaged 7.5 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per game. He should have no problem averaging double figures in rebounds and points with some more playing time.
The 6’10” forward was a beast in the dance to say the least. He averaged 30.7 minutes per game and his numbers skyrocketed. McGary put up 14.3 points per game and 10.7 rebounds per game. If he can average a double-double on the biggest stage–NCAA tournament– I am sure he can average a double-double in the upcoming season when he will be a starter and one of the biggest threats on both ends of the court.
Michigan will look a little different, but it is still going to be one of the best teams in college hoops. The Wolverines’ frontcourt could be one of the best ones in the nation and McGary has a lot to do with that.
He has the talent to lead this team to yet another national title game and he very well could be the best player on the team in the 2013-14 season. People can also expect him to average a double-double all season long.
Hopefully people did not get sick of hearing his name during the Big Dance because they are going to be getting their fair share of Mitch McGary in the upcoming season.
