The Washington Huskies could be an under the radar team in the 2013-14 college basketball season. Regardless, they can make some noise right away in the upcoming season.

Washington should have no problem winning its first three games of the season. However, it will play the Indiana Hoosiers in its fourth game.

The Hoosiers were a great basketball team last year, but they are losing most of their starting lineup. They will be returning two solid players, but will likely rely heavily on the incoming freshmen. Needless to say, it is a good thing that the Huskies are playing them early on in the season.

They very well could win that contest. I am sure Indiana will be ranked at the time, so the victory would look that much better.

Washington will also take on the San Diego State Aztecs early on. The Aztecs should compete in the MWC, but they will be losing their two best players and will have a similar situation to the Hoosiers. Once again, it is good that Washington is playing them early on.

I am not saying that the Huskies will win both of those game, but they could. Leading scorer C.J. Wilcox will be back and he should have another great year. He averaged 16.8 points per game last season and could be one of the best scorers in the Pac-12 in the 2013-14 season.

Washington definitely has some tough matchups early on, but it will have the talent to win them. Beating San Diego State or Indiana right off of the bat would be huge and no one should be surprised if that actually happens.
