The Ohio State Buckeyes are 7-0 after defeating the Maryland Terrapins, who have put up a fight in all of their games despite a 5-3 record. Maryland was able to out-rebound the Buckeyes, but was unable to account for the superior passing skills of Aaron Craft and the other Ohio State guards. The Buckeyes won by an impressive 76-60 score.

At the beginning of the season, many assumed that either the Michigan Wolverines or the Michigan State Spartans would win the Big 10. Now that Michigan State has lost to North Carolina and Michigan has lost to Iowa StateCharlotte and Duke, Ohio State stands at no. 5 in the polls and should be the favorites to win the Big 10.

The Buckeyes’ biggest rivals right now are the undefeated Wisconsin Badgers. Wisconsin has beaten a lot better opponents than Ohio State and if both teams can enter conference play undefeated it could lead to a potential top-five battle between the two.

Ohio State’s most impressive win all season has been against the Marquette Golden Eagles. Rhe rest of their opponents have been rather weak. The Buckeyes need to continue to rack up wins now, because each Big 10 game is going to be a lot harder than most of their non-conference games. Ohio State has what it takes to go to the Final Four, but a little bit of confidence by remaining undefeated is bound to help the Buckeyes in the long run.
