Oklahoma State Cowboys Cannot Take Colorado Buffaloes Lightly

The Oklahoma State Cowboys haven’t had the toughest schedule so far this season, but they have been challenged a couple of times. They will be taking on a ranked Colorado Buffaloes team next and they cannot take them lightly.

Oklahoma State is ranked as high as No. 7 and Colorado is ranked as high as No. 20. You would think the Cowboys would have no problem with the Buffaloes based off of the rankings, but Colorado is going to be one of their toughest challenges of the season.

The Buffs have already beaten Harvard and Kansas on the year. Not to mention, they have not lost since the first game of the season–10 wins in a row.

Oklahoma State’s only loss came in the rematch with the Memphis Tigers.

The Pac-12 is no joke this year and Colorado is good enough to win it. The same thing can be said about Oklahoma State when it comes to the Big 12 Conference.

I am sure Marcus Smart and co. will come to play, which should result in a victory. This would provide another big resume builder for the Cowboys, as they already have one against Memphis.

Still, Colorado is more than capable of pulling off the upset and it is really a top 10 team when it is at its best. Just ask Kansas, who lost by a buzzer-beater against the Buffs.

The guard play in this game will be tremendous, but OK State has to have the advantage since it does have Smart on the team. I am sure Spencer Dinwiddie and co. think otherwise, though.
