The Wisconsin Badgers have gotten off to a great start. They are currently undefeated and ranked as high as No. 4 in the polls. With that in mind, let’s take a look at that resume.

The Badgers have beaten one ranked opponent on the season. That victory came against the Florida Gators when they were short-handed, but a win is a win. Other notable victories were against Saint Louis, Virginia, Marquette and St. John’s.

The victory against the Gators is by far the best one of the year. Florida is one of the most talented teams in the country and they have beaten two ranked opponents on the season to prove it. That win is really going to look good as the season progresses because I am sure the Gators will be back in the top 10 at some point.

Wisconsin’s resume is pretty impressive to say the least, but the team needs another marquee win if it plans on moving up the rankings or being a No. 1 seed in the 2014 NCAA Tournament.

I am sure the Badgers will get another big win, as the Big Ten is filled with talented teams, but I am not so sure about that No. 1 seed. The winner of the Big Ten will more than likely earn a No. 1 seed and Michigan State has to be the favorite to do that as of right now. Sure, Wisconsin is ranked higher than the Spartans, but Michigan State is one of the most experienced and talented teams in the country.

Still, Wisconsin has been one of the best basketball teams so far and it has a very impressive resume to prove it.
