Rant Sports Week 13 Official College Basketball Top 25 Rankings
Top 25 Rankings
Although there is only one new team that entered the rankings this week, you can bet that the top 25 will look much different for Week 13.
Kansas State is the only team that was booted out of the top 25 and in its place is now Oklahoma. The Big 12 is easily one of the most competitive conferences in college basketball and people can expect the teams in it to beat up on each other for the remainder of the season.
Duke earned a big win over a former Big East team in the Pittsburgh Panthers. Now, people can really look forward to the Duke vs. Syracuse matchup--not like people already weren’t--because the two teams sit at the top of the conference.
Chris Walker was finally cleared by the NCAA and his presence should make Florida a national title contender. The Gators have made three straight Elite Eights and a fourth one seems very likely now.
Just as Kentucky was finally moving up the rankings, it lost yet another game. However, the Wildcats did lose to a very good LSU team that could make the NCAA tournament this season.
Texas is a team that is certainly on the rise and has now beaten three ranked opponents in a row. The Longhorns will play Kansas next.
There are plenty of college basketball games going on at the time of writing. Those contests will not be taken into account. For instance, Iowa State and Kansas are currently battling it out.

15. Duke Blue Devils
We all knew how talented Duke was coming into the season. Well, that talent is starting to turn into a very good basketball team.
The Blue Devils just got done knocking off Pittsburgh and they are on a five-game win streak.
Syracuse is up next. That game will show who the best team in the conference is.
10. Michigan Wolverines
No one is as hot as Michigan right now. Sure, there are still three undefeated teams, but those teams have not beaten three top 10 teams in a row. The Wolverines have. Two of those victories were on the road and just in case you didn't know, Michigan State and Wisconsin are very tough to beat at home.
1. Arizona Wildcats
Arizona is currently losing to Stanford on the road. Although a loss would end the Wildcats’ perfect record and would result in them losing their No. 1 ranking, losing to the Cardinal would not be the biggest shocker in the world.
It would clearly be an upset, but Stanford is a very talented team that has a great shot at dancing.
