The SEC conference tournament is already under way, but wanted to make a couple of predictions just in case you are interested. Thanks as always for reading, and be sure to stop by Rant Sports Prep if you have passion for high school basketball. Here are five opinions for you.

The LSU Tigers have had a rough year, and Pete Maravich is not coming through that door. They should lose their first matchup, which comes against the Kentucky Wildcats tomorrow. It will probably be a beat-down, so would not watch if you are a Tigers fan.

4. The Tennessee Volunteers Will Surprise Some People

I see the Tennessee Volunteers putting together a couple wins here, and possibly even contending for the conference championship. A this point though, it is the Florida Gators title to lose and if the Volunteers want to win the tournament, then they would have to topple the champs.

3. The Georgia Bulldogs Will Just Miss Out

They are the number three seed in the tournament, but just do not see them getting past the Kentucky Wildcats. Fortunately, the Bulldogs have a good enough record that they should still be invited to the dance in March.

2. The Kentucky Wildcats Will Stamp Their Ticket to March Madness

John Calipari has probably felt like a babysitter at times this year, and that will continue for him in the future. That is what happens when you recruit almost exclusively one-and-done players. A couple wins in this tournament should secure them a March invitation.

1. The Florida Gators Will Win the Whole Thing

Billy Donovan has his team clicking on all cylinders, and I think the Gators will just straight take this tournament. In fact, they could win the next tournament they have coming up as well. If they are not named a number one seed, then I would be absolutely shocked.
