Record: 21-11

Region – Seed: Midwest – No. 10

RPI: 44

BPI: 39

Conference: Pac-12 Conference

How They Qualified: At-Large Berth

Arizona State dropped four of six to close out the regular season. The Sun Devils were still one of the better teams in the Pac-12 and have the talent to make some noise in the 2014 NCAA tournament.

They got some national attention early on in the season by beating UNLV and Marquette. Their only losses before conference play came against a ranked Creighton team and to the Miami Hurricanes.

Arizona State may have had eight losses in the Pac-12, but it had some huge wins.

What You Need to Know:

Leading Scorer: Jahii Carson (18.6 ppg)

Leading Rebounder: Jordan Bachynski (8.3 rpg)

Leading Passer: Jahii Carson (4.5 apg)

Bad Losses: Miami, Oregon State

Good Wins: Arizona

UCLA was the only top Pac-12 team Arizona State did not beat. That is okay because it was one of the very few teams that beat Arizona this year.

If you are going to take anything away from this article, make sure you remember the name Jahii Carson. He stands at 5-foot-10, but he can flat out ball. However, Jermaine Marshall is another player to watch out for. He is putting up 15 points per game and leads the team in three-pointers made (78).

Arizona State definitely does not get as much buzz as in-state rival Arizona, but it has the talent to do just as good in the dance this season. After all, it did beat the Wildcats in double overtime.

The Arizona State Sun Devils are dancing!
