Aaron Craft sure is getting tons of attention these days. Known for being "perfect" outside of the basketball court for his academics and doing the right thing all the time, we're all getting tired of his publicity. Even though he's a good leader and plays with a lot of passion, he's reaching levels similar to Tim Tebow back in his college football days.
See five reasons why we are all sick and tired of hearing about Aaron Craft.
While Craft is known for being good inside the paint offensively and creating good scoring plays, he simply can't shoot well at all from outside the perimeter. He takes too many shots without thinking about the consequences, since most of the time they seemed taken due to him thinking he has an open shot. He's too impatient and chucks the ball at any given notice.
Leaders aren't created, they are born. While most won't argue Craft does a good job showing his leadership skills in front of his teammates, many wonder if he's just doing it to create a squeaky clean persona for the publicity.
One thing that's for sure is that Craft has some pretty bad ball-handling skills. He gives up too many turnovers because he either gets boxed in too much or doesn't anticipate a steal. He's very sloppy when dribbling, which isn't good for a point guard.
Despite being an all-around solid college basketball player, his lack of outside shooting and horrible ball-handling skills won't translate well in the NBA. The publicity he would bring for being an almost too perfect kind of athlete will draw some eyebrows. Craft also seems to be very dramatic when things don't go his way, which means he might not have the maturity to handle all the fame of being a professional basketball player in the NBA.
Once the battle is over, the victors go on for glory while the losers lay down in defeat. Craft decided to create what will probably be the most viral college basketball picture to hit the internet in quite some time. If you're bored and want to take a look at the countless memes and hilarious images he inspired with this picture, hit those search engines now!
