After defeating the Florida Gators, the Connecticut Huskies are one game away from winning college basketball glory. It has been a long road for the Huskies, but it will now have a chance to play for the 2014 NCAA championship. Your bracket is busted by now, but the underdogs in college basketball make March one of the best months in sports.
Here are five reasons why the Huskies will win the 2014 NCAA tournament.
Most people called the first win a fluke. After two wins against one of the best college basketball teams in the country, people need to respect the Huskies.
The Huskies are ranked sixth in free throws, and this is a huge reason for its success. Any team that can make its shots can finish the game.
Head coach Kevin Ollie already has 50 wins in two seasons with UConn. The man obviously knows how to win.
Before the Florida game, Shabazz Napier scored 30 percent of the team's points in the tournament. He can carry this team to a title.
There was no way that UConn could beat Florida twice. Well, the Huskies did. This team is ready to prove everyone wrong.
