The North Carolina Tar Heels have a little cloud hanging over them with an academic scandal brewing, but when it comes to basketball, there is still plenty to get amped about. Roy Williams makes a return to Allen Fieldhouse on Monday -- however, he has built up a great hoops program at UNC. Here are my predictions for their five statistical leaders going into the 2014-15 season.

5. Points: Marcus Paige

Marcus Paige has been the most consistent Tar Heel for the last two years, and he should be UNC's main offensive option in this coming season. Roy Williams will lean heavily on his floor general, which should help Paige generate a lot of points.

4. Rebounds: Brice Johnson

Brice Johnson was No. 2 overall on the team in rebounding -- only trailing James Michael McAdoo last year -- but you can expect the junior power forward to take a big leap with McAdoo out of the picture.

3. Assists: Marcus Paige

Paige averaged 4.2 assists per game last season, but you can bet that number will go up with a lot of freshman wing talent like Justin Jackson and Theo Pinson expected to contribute early on.

2. Steals: J.P. Tokoto

J.P. Tokoto led the teams in steals (1.6 per game) last season, and it would not surprise anyone to see that total increase in the next campaign. They will need his defensive toughness to have a shot at winning the ACC.

1. Blocks: Kennedy Meeks

Kennedy Meeks has really started to improve his conditioning, and that will make a world of difference and place him higher than his average of 0.9 blocks per game last year.
