The Aztecs are coming off two tightly won games against Utah and BYU. The Aztecs are known for their tough and smart defense, which makes the team very difficult to defeat. With Steve Fisher as the head coach, the Aztecs do not seem to lose many games.

2. Gonzaga Bulldogs (4-0)

The Bulldogs are one of the best teams in the country and are led by the leadership of Kevin Pangos and transfer Kyle Wiltjer. Pangos and Wiltjer have both played in many important games and know how to win. This could be the best Bulldogs team since 2012, when the Bulldogs were a No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament.

The Shockers do not need to shock the world anymore. The team has proven time after time that they are the best mid-major basketball team in the country. As long as Ron Baker and Fred VanVleet are on the floor for the Shockers, they will be the best mid-major.
