The Kentucky Wildcats would easily beat the Philadelphia 76ers in a game, right? Find out where that overreaction ranks among the top 10 overreactions of the 2014-15 college basketball season so far.

TCU won just nine games last year. The Horned Frogs already have 10 wins on the season. They are also undefeated. The team's hot start may be a surprise, but wait until TCU actually plays a Big 12 team.

Whether you agree with this one or not, Connecticut is definitely off to a bad start (4-3 record). That start could get worse when the Huskies take on the Duke Blue Devils next. Regardless, the Huskies play in the AAC, and could still easily win the conference title. Once conference play begins, that is.

Although it seems like many people have jumped off the Steve Lavin bandwagon in recent years, the St. John's Red Storm's great start has many people back on that bandwagon. While wins against Minnesota and Syracuse are great early on, let's wait and see if things actually pan out for the Red Storm.

While teams like Notre Dame, Miami and Maryland are off to solid starts, it is way too early to say they will compete for a conference title. Notre Dame and Miami have to get past Duke, Louisville and many others in the ACC, while Maryland is new to the Big 10.

Florida is 6-4. Last season, the Gators finished with a 36-3 record. Don't forget that Florida lost two games early on last year as well. Plus, Billy Donovan is one of the best coaches in the game, and he always has his guys ready to go by the time the tournament rolls around. This team also needs some time to play with one another since it is completely different than last year's squad, and has dealt with injuries early on.

5. Freshmen, Freshmen, Freshmen

Jahlil Okafor is off to a great start. He's not the only freshman in America off to a great start either. That is obvious. But before we crown all of these freshmen the best players since the last crop, let's remember that there are also sophomores (Harrison twins), juniors (Sam Dekker) and seniors (Ryan Boatright) at the college level. Many of them are also good at basketball.

Wisconsin entered the season with some crazy expectations. That tends to happen when a team brings back a bunch of talent. Not to mention, that talent went on a run to the Final Four the season before. With that said, we are talking about the Big 10, which always has great battles and is a top conference in college hoops. Moral of the story, other teams will compete for the conference title.

3. Texas Will Win the Big 12

So far the Texas Longhorns have been as good as advertised. However, before we crown them the Big 12 champs, can we please wait for Big 12 play to actually start? Kansas wins this conference on a yearly basis. Then there are teams like Iowa State, who could contend for a championship. Texas is back, but it is certainly not alone in the Big 12.

North Carolina always enters the season with high expectations. However, over the last couple of years, the team has not met those expectations. Once again, the Tar Heels entered this season with great expectations, but they already have three losses. With that in mind, those losses have come against Iowa, Butler and Kentucky -- three teams that should be in the tournament. Roy Williams' team has also beaten Florida and UCLA, though.

Let's just throw this all into one slide: The 2014-15 Kentucky team is the best ever, Kentucky could go 40-0 and this Kentucky team could beat an NBA team (like the Philadelphia 76ers). I agree, the Wildcats are way-too-freaking talented and will more than likely win the championship, but beating an NBA team, being the best Wildcats of all time and not losing a single game are all overreactions to the max.
