Week 7 of the 2014-15 college basketball season is upon us and much has changed since Week 1. The top six remains the same with none of the undefeated teams losing, but there was a lot of movement in the middle of the rankings. Here are RantSports' official top 25 college basketball rankings for Week 7.

The Sooners have three losses on the season after being expected to be a potential dark horse for the 2015 NCAA tournament. They need to figure things out in a hurry.

Until some of the lower teams start losing, VCU will be on the outside looking into the top 20.

The Rams are still undefeated on the season and are legit contenders to go undefeated this season.

TCU is also undefeated on the season, but the more difficult portion of its schedule remains to be played.

21. Baylor Bears

Personally, I don’t believe the Bears deserve to be in the top 25, but it would be unwise to leave them out from a neutral perspective. They are 10-1, but haven’t beaten any good teams and have won close games vs. below-average teams.

20. Kansas Jayhawks

The Jayhawks were blown out by Temple. Why anyone thought this team would recover from the losses of Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid baffles me.

The Tar Heels have either looked really good or really bad this season. UNC needs consistency now.

Its lone loss was to LSU by one, so WVU will struggle to bust into the top 15 all year. However, with Kansas taking a step backwards, the Big 12 is wide open.

Ohio State’s two losses have been to the only good teams it has played all season. This doesn’t bode well moving forward.

St. John’s has started well, but it has yet to beat anyone good. Watch this team closely over the next few weeks.

Notre Dame could beat any team in the country on any given night just on its offense.

Maryland's lone loss was to Virginia by 11. No other team has come that close to beating UVA. The Terrapins are for real.

One of the deepest and most all-around talented rosters in the country, Utah just falls short time and time again. Its two losses have been by a combined seven points.

Perhaps the most surprising of the undefeated programs, the Huskies are coming off an impressive win over Oklahoma. Their undefeated start is not a fluke.

Wichita State should hover around this ranking all season. Its only threat from now on is Northern Iowa.

Iowa State has been on a roll lately and should win its next three games easily. However, the following three games will be against West Virginia, Baylor and Kansas, forcing ISU to put its money where its mouth is.

Texas has so much talent, but at times look like it doesn't know what to do with it. If this team can put it all together, it is a legitimate 2015 NCAA tournament contender.

Gonzaga is one of the most offensively efficient programs in the entire country. If it can keep this up moving forward, Gonzaga could easily be one of the top programs all year long.

Wisconsin will not be a top five program in college basketball until it can put up 80 or more points on a top college basketball team. I’ll continue to repeat this point until it does.

The Wildcats look to be the clear No. 1 in the Pac-12 after UCLA got destroyed by Kentucky. Expect this team to be an easy No. 1 seed in the 2015 NCAA tournament.

The Wildcats dominated UCLA 83-44 and proved they still belong at the No. 1 spot. Louisville is up next.
