As we approach the midway point of ACC conference play, a number of quality teams have emerged as title contenders. If one thing is certain, It's that the race will come down to the wire in March. Here are five games remaining on the schedule that will go a long way in determining which teams have a shot at winning the regular season title in the ACC.

Both of these teams aren't known for being ACC teams, but have a strong basketball reputation nonetheless. The Fighting Irish are a highly efficient offensive team led by star player Jerian Grant. Syracuse hasn't lived up to its usual standards this year, but a big win over Notre Dame could do wonders for the team's resume.

Expect a high-scoring affair when the Tar Heels travel to Coral Gables, Fla., to battle the Hurricanes. Miami has emerged as a surprise team behind coach Jim Larranaga, and Roy Williams' UNC squad is always tough to beat. These two teams only meet once in the regular season, but it's sure to be an exciting display of offensive fireworks.

A change of conference scenery hasn't done much to deter No. 10 Louisville from its enduring success this season. Coaching philosophies will clash in Charlottesville when Pitino's frantic pressing-style will attempt to fluster the Cavaliers. The Cavs are no slouch on the defensive end either, limiting opponents to 49.2 points per game.

The result of this epic showdown will play a large role in determining who is crowned conference champions in the regular season. The undefeated Cavaliers face its biggest challenge yet against No. 4 Duke and stud freshman Jahlil Okafor. Virginia will endure its most difficult stretch of the season starting this weekend, as the Cavs next three games are all against ranked ACC foes.

It's hard to argue against the Duke-UNC rivalry as the top game to watch in the ACC this season. It'll be one of the most exciting spectacles of the college basketball season when the Tar Heels travel down Tobacco Road to battle the Blue Devils. Cameron Indoor Stadium will undoubtedly be rocking and Dickie V will be screaming when these rivals collide.
