Le’Bryan Nash and Phil Forte III  have proven that they are one of the best duos in the Big 12, especially after their huge comeback win against the Kansas Jayhawks.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys rely heavily on Nash, Forte and most of their starting lineup, but this is not a problem as long as their starters stay on the floor. The Cowboys looked like they had no shot of making a comeback after the way the Jayhawks played heading into halftime, but the Cowboys rallied behind their stars. Nash finished the game with 18 points, while Forte finished the games with a solid 13 points.

The Jayhawks were one of the hottest teams in the country coming into the game against the Cowboys, which is why this win proves that the Cowboys’ star players can compete against any team in the nation.

The Cowboys now have recorded wins against the Texas Longhorns, the Baylor Bears and the Jayhawks, but the team has already suffered five losses in conference play. Those losses in the past will not matter anymore, because this team has punched its ticket to the NCAA tournament after defeating one of the best teams in the country.

As long as Nash and Forte are on the floor for the Cowboys, then this team will be ready for any challenge that comes their way. The Cowboys have been a pleasant surprise from the Big 12 this season, and nobody in the Big 12 wants to face this team down the stretch.

A trip to Stillwater is a trip that no team wants to take heading towards the end of conference play.
