Matchup: Arkansas Razorbacks (19-5) vs. Ole Miss Rebels (17-7)

If you are all about those bubble games that help decide who gets into the tournament, then you are going to love this matchup.

The SEC is not going to get the most bids into the dance this year, but it will still get a decent amount. At this point, Arkansas and Ole Miss are not locks, so you could say this game between the two is pretty meaningful.

In the first meeting (Jan. 17), the Razorbacks lost by the score of 96-82.

What to Watch For

Arkansas is averaging 80.3 points per game and has two players who are averaging 15+ points per game. It is Bobby Portis who should be on everyone’s radar, though, as he is putting up 17.9 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.

Ole Miss may not be averaging as many points per game as the Razorbacks, but it does have three players who are averaging 11 or more PPG.

Prediction

Ole Miss is coming off a big victory against the Florida Gators. Sure, Florida is struggling like no other this season, but beating a Billy Donovan-coached team on the road is still a pretty solid achievement.

Considering the fact that the Rebels were able to beat the Razorbacks on the road in the first meeting, and scored 96 points in that game, you would think they would have no problem winning this one at home.

Both teams enter with some momentum, and both teams are tied for second in the SEC standings. However, we are predicting Ole Miss to come away with the win.

Arkansas 75, Ole Miss 81
