With two games remaining in the regular season, Texas has a lot of work to do in order to make the NCAA tournament. Without wins against Baylor and Texas, the Longhorns will completely miss out on the tournament altogether. Here now are five reasons why Texas doesn't deserve to make the 2015 NCAA tournament.

Touted as a top-10 team earlier in the season, Texas is only 17-12, creeping closer and closer to .500.

None of Texas' 17 wins can be classified as great. Texas has some good wins, but Iowa and West Virginia won't be enough to get over the hump and into the tourney.

Instead of peaking late in the season, the Longhorns have stumbled, losing eight of their previous 12. Three of those wins came against the likes of Big 12 bottom feeders TCU and Texas Tech.

In a normal year, a team that has a losing record in conference doesn't get into the tournament. The Longhorns are 6-10 in Big 12 play, with four of their wins coming against TCU and Texas Tech, two teams that won't make the tournament.

When Texas played teams that were ranked in the Top-50, they usually lost. In 13 games against these teams, the Longhorns lost 11. A 2-11 record won't get the job done when trying to convince the committee that you belong.
