The team could use a serious run in the ACC tournament -- to say the least. If it can't pull that off, it very well could be playing in the NIT. Regardless, check out five reasons why we think the Hurricanes will miss out on the dance.

Miami Basketball — This one never looks good. Although Eastern Kentucky and Green Bay have definitely held their own this year, Miami is an ACC member. Basically, it is not supposed to get knocked off by mid-major teams. Even worse, the Hurricanes lost to the two teams mentioned above at home ... by double digits. Ouch.
