Matchup: Stanford Cardinal (18-11) vs. Arizona Wildcats (27-3)

Stanford, if you want to make the 2015 NCAA tournament, you should probably win this game. Okay, so that is way easier said than done, but the Cardinal need some wins right about now. Beating Arizona on the road would be a fantastic start.

Unfortunately, the Wildcats will be playing at home, they have won seven games in a row and Stanford is riding a two-game losing streak.

What to Watch For

The Cardinal definitely have some scorers. Chasson Randle is leading the team at 19.2 points per game, and there are two other players putting up 13+.

Where do we start with Arizona? It is filled with talent, which is kind of a thing for this program. Stanley Johnson is a good start. He is leading the team in scoring and rebounding.

Prediction

These two teams had a close contest the first time they played this season. Arizona won that won on the road (89-82). The Cardinal are also not playing their best basketball of the season. Needless to say, they will need to be on their A game to pull off this upset.

Arizona has yet to lose a home game this year, and it is not going to drop one here. The Cardinal have the talent to win this game, but let’s remember that the Wildcats have only lost three times in 2014-15. Stanford is going to have to make its case for a bid in the Pac-12 tournament because Arizona is not losing this game. Now, watch the Wildcats get blown out of their own house.

Stanford 71, Arizona 81
