Matchup: Wisconsin Badgers (27-3) vs. Ohio State Buckeyes (22-8)

This is the perfect game to get both teams ready for the Big 10 and NCAA tournaments. Both teams enter this game by being ranked in the top 25, after all.

While Wisconsin is still battling for a No. 1 seed in the dance, the Buckeyes should be sitting nicely in the field of 68. Of course, a win for either team would help out with that whole seeding process.

For what it’s worth, this is the first meeting between these two squads this season.

What to Watch For

The talent in this game is out of this world. For one, there are two players — on different teams — who are battling for the Player of the Year. Those players would be Frank Kaminsky (Wisconsin) and D’Angelo Russell (Ohio State). The two can take over a game on their own, and will definitely have to come ready to play in this contest.

However, Wisconsin is the more talented team, which is probably why it has only lost three games in 2014-15.

Prediction

With March Madness in the air, let’s go with the upset. Here’s some reasons why: (1) The Buckeyes are riding a three-game winning streak, (2) Russell has scored 28 points in back-to-back games and (3) Ohio State is ranked for a reason.

When it is all said and done, Wisconsin could come away with the Big 10 tournament title, but it will not get the best of Ohio State on the road. Let the upsets begin.

Wisconsin 67, Ohio State 72
