2015 NCAA Tournament Preview: No. 7 Wichita State Shockers vs. No. 10 Indiana Hoosiers

The Indiana Hoosiers and Wichita State Shockers will meet up in the 2015 NCAA tournament. Needless to say, that is a tough break for both teams.

The Hoosiers can beat anyone in the tournament … if they are making their shots. Indiana has a couple of lethal scorers and can really hit the three-ball.

The Shockers may not be undefeated entering the dance this time around, but they still have some talent. After all, Fred VanVleet and Ron Baker (two of the best players in the MVC this year) are still on the team.

What to Watch For

Yogi Ferrell and James Blackmon Jr. are two very exciting players to watch — to say the least. They are both averaging right around 16 points per game and can definitely hit from behind the arc at a high rate.

To no one’s surprise, Baker and VanVleet are the top two leading scorers on the Shockers, and are the two main players to keep an eye on for Wichita State.

Prediction

If Indiana is firing on all cylinders, it is the easy pick here. However, the Hoosiers have to knock down those shots from deep. The Shockers may not put up a boatload of points per game, but they have only lost four times in 2014-15, and are no strangers to the NCAA tournament.

I have the Hoosiers advancing, but this one could go either way, which tends to be the case when the No. 7 seed and No. 10 seed take the court against one another.

Indiana 75, Wichita State 69
