The Xavier Musketeers and Ole Miss Rebels will be meeting up in the round of 64. Although the Musketeers are the higher seed, the Rebels are coming off a thrilling victory over the BYU Cougars.

Before this game tips off, check out these five bold predictions.

Stefan Moody is leading Ole Miss in scoring at 16.6 PPG. He also dropped 26 points on the Cougars in the play-in game. If the Rebels are going to win this contest, Moody has to come up big. It is really that simple.

This is asking for a lot, but Xavier does have three players who are averaging 10 or more points per game. It also has three other players who are averaging eight or more points per contest. Regardless, I am predicting six players on this team to score in double figures. No one player dominates on offense, but the Musketeers are very well-rounded in that department.

3. Jarvis Summers Doesn’t Disappoint

Jarvis Summers scored 11 points against BYU. He also shot 5-21 from the field, though. However, the senior is averaging 12.4 points per game on the season and is just a year removed from averaging 17.3 PPG. Regardless, he will not disappoint in this contest.

80 may be asking for a lot, but did you see the Rebels in their last game? They dropped 94 points on BYU. Xavier is averaging 73.6 PPG and Ole Miss is averaging 72.6 PPG. These teams aren't leading the nation in scoring or anything like that, but they can clearly put the ball in the hoop at a decent rate.

It's hard not to get caught up in the moment, so I am not going to fight it. Ole Miss is a great pick if you saw it play last game. Sure, the Musketeers may be the No. 6 seed, but it is important to note that they also have one more loss than the Rebels. For all it's worth, Ole Miss only lost to Kentucky by three points in OT (at Kentucky).
