Chris Webber Says ‘Fab Five’ Teammates Exaggerated Importance

Former NBA star and “Fab Five” member Chris Webber stopped by The Dan Patrick Show to discuss a number of topics. One of the most interesting points of discussion came when Webber started sharing his thoughts on his former Michigan Wolverines teammates.

The discussion turned to ESPN’s 30 for 30 “Fab Five” documentary, when Webber took some subtle shots throwing his teammates under the bus.

“My whole thing has been it’s always been about us five,” Webber said. “And so when one guy has a million highlights in there of himself like he was the leading scorer, like when the stories are all after and embellished it’s just a little hard for me. But I think it was entertaining, there was a lot of truth in it.”

It will be interesting to see if any of his teammates respond.
