Stadium: American Airlines Arena

Once again, the Kentucky Wildcats are ranked No. 1 in the country and are chasing a perfect 40-0 season. Okay, so the 40-0 campaign likely isn’t going to happen with this group of Wildcats, but the team is still talented enough to win a title, which is basically the theme for this program on a yearly basis.

Kentucky will take on the South Florida Bulls next … and it’s hard to not feel bad for the Bulls. South Florida is just 1-4 on the year, but that one victory did come in its last contest.

As we have already seen early on in the 2015-16 season, upsets happen. Quite frequently in this sport, might I add. Don’t expect the mega-upset to go down in this contest, though. Not when Kentucky already has a win over the Duke Blue Devils and a bunch of talent all over the court.

Currently, four Wildcats are averaging 12 or more points per game, but those aren’t the only players on the team who can put the ball in the hoop at a decent rate. After all, players like Alex Poythress and Marcus Lee are hovering right around eight points per game.

Meanwhile, the Bulls have three guys who are putting up 11 or more points per game — for what it’s worth.

The talent just isn’t there for South Florida — well at least when it is going up against a powerhouse like Kentucky, that is. That said, this Kentucky squad is very young. Translation: If any team is going to beat the Wildcats, it very well could come early on in 2015-16.

PREDICTION: Wildcats 87, Bulls 60
