Arena: Charles E. Smith Center, Washington D.C.

The Seton Hall Pirates may have lost their best player from a season ago, Sterling Gibbs, to a graduate transfer, but they have been hot to start the season, winning five of their opening six games. Next up for Seton Hall, however, will be a tough road test against the one-loss George Washington Colonials.

GW will be disappointed to fall to the Cincinnati Bearcats after their 6-0 start to the season, but the Colonials will know that Cincinnati is a clear 2016 NCAA tournament team so the loss will not cost them a potential NCAA tournament bid. After their victory over the No. 6 Virginia Cavaliers in the second game of the season, not much will scare this George Washington team, so expect them to have a bounce-back performance against the Pirates.

Seton Hall is led in scoring by Isaiah Whitehead, who is averaging 16.8 points per game, but it will be the play of Angel Delgado on the inside that will determine the Pirates’ chances of winning. Kevin Larsen and Tyler Cavanaugh may not lead the Colonials in scoring, but they both average over 12 points per game and seven rebounds per game while doing a little bit of everything else. Delgado will be tasked with trying to stop these two fantastic players on the inside, making the must-watch matchups in this game between those three.

Overall, expect this game to be a fairly easy victory for George Washington at home. Seton Hall is a good team, but the Pirates are not an NCAA tournament squad and will struggle against above average opposition all year long.

Prediction: George Washington 66, Seton Hall 58
