Arena: Reed Arena, College Station, Texas

The Kansas State Wildcats have begun the 2015-16 season with an impressive 7-1 start. Because their only loss was to the North Carolina Tar Heels, the Wildcats will feel that they have a legitimate shot at making the 2016 NCAA tournament with just a few big wins and no bad losses down the stretch.

Next up for Kansas State is an opportunity to do just that, as the Wildcats travel to College Station to face off with the recently ranked Texas A&M Aggies.

The Aggies moved into the top 25 a few weeks ago only to lose two of their last three to the Syracuse Orange and Arizona State Sun Devils. Despite these disappointing losses, the Aggies boast one of the deepest teams in the SEC and should be quite confident that they will be able to challenge for the top spot in the conference.

Danuel House has been shooting lights out, averaging 16.1 points per game, as has Jalen Jones, who is averaging just over 13 points per game. Next to these two players, however, multiple guys have shown the ability to step up in crunch-time situations, something that will translate well as the season heads towards March.

The Wildcats are a good team that should be in the NIT discussion at the end of the season, but Texas A&M should win easily against their former Big 12 foe. Kansas State has had success against weak teams and, next to UNC, the Aggies will be the best team they have faced so far.

Prediction: Texas A&M 75, Kansas State 64
