The undefeated No. 3 Oklahoma Sooners look to be unstoppable through their first seven games of the season and make a pretty good case to be the No. 1 team in the country.

Despite feeling that they have been snubbed for the top spot, the Sooners will get another chance to prove to the nation that they are the best team in college basketball, as the 7-3 Creighton Bluejays come to Norman, Oklahoma, on Saturday afternoon.

The Bluejays boast one of the most explosive offenses in the country, but their defense ranks No. 216 overall. Eight different players on this team average at least six points and 12 minutes per game, giving Creighton one of the deepest rotations in college basketball. All season long the problem for the Bluejays has been that their defense cannot keep talented opponents from scoring, negating their free flowing offense.

Creighton should have the same defensive problems on Saturday with Oklahoma, whose offense is ranked even higher than the Bluejays’ offense.

Barring a major collapse, the Sooners should stomp Creighton at Lloyd Noble Center. Buddy Hield should rip the Creighton’s defense to shreds, while players like Isaiah Cousins, Ryan Spangler and Jordan Woodard have huge nights. To put it simply, Oklahoma is just a better team.

Creighton are a young, talented squad in the midst of rebuilding who could keep this game extremely close for three quarters of the game. However, the Bluejays are still a year or so away from being an NCAA tournament team, and the Sooners should win big at home.

Prediction: Oklahoma 88, Creighton 69
