Plenty of teams have disappointed so far in the 2015-16 college basketball season, and plenty of teams have exceeded expectations — this list features both.
In the spirit of conference play taking off, here are 10 teams that will, for better or worse, show their true colors in, well, conference play.

Following a first-round loss to FSU in the ACC men's basketball tournament, Boston College's Dennis Clifford was overcome with emotions as a senior who won't be back next season. His head coach, Jim Christian, was equally as heartbroken. It just goes to show that at times, college athletics are way more than just a game.
Boston College vs. Florida State: The Seminoles beat the Eagles in the 1st round of the NY Life ACC Basketball Tournament, 88-66. Devon Bookert led the team with 15 points and 4 assists and Noles' teammates Dwayne Bacon and Malik Beasley added 13 points each. FSU now faces Virginia Tech in the 2nd round Wednesday.
