TV Schedule: Tuesday, Feb. 23, 9:00 p.m. ET, ESPN

Stadium: Value City Arena

This time of year, everyone is looking forward to the tournament. With the calendar getting ready to switch over to the month of March, that is exactly how it should be.

Two teams that are definitely looking forward to March Madness glory are the Michigan State Spartans and Ohio State Buckeyes. With that said, the Buckeyes are not a lock to go dancing (a bit of an understatement). Therefore, they can do themselves a monster favor by knocking off the Spartans at home later on tonight.

Michigan State has now won two games in a row and although a Big Ten title seems out of reach, the Spartans are ranked as high as No. 6 in college basketball.

Here’s the deal with the Buckeyes: They have three games left. They will play Michigan State twice and the Iowa Hawkeyes once. If they can win two of three, which is a very tough feat to pull off, they belong in the tourney. Of course, the Big Ten tournament will play a factor as well.

Here’s the deal with Michigan State: Michigan State should run through its last four games of the season. However, if the Spartans plan on earning a No. 1 seed in the Big Dance, they might have to win the Big Ten tourney, which they are more than capable of doing.

Nonetheless, this is the time for teams to make their case for the NCAA tournament. Unfortunately for Ohio State, the pressure is on, and the Spartans have Denzel Valentine (aka a top player in this sport).

PREDICTION: Spartans 76, Buckeyes 71
