Minnesota Basketball's Kevin Dorsey Suspended After Tweeting Videos Of Threesome

By Brad Berreman

Just before Sunday night’s loss to Illinois, three Minnesota Golden Gophers men’s basketball players were suspended for an unspecified violation of team rules. Guards Kevin Dorsey, Nate Mason and Dupree McBrayer did not suit up for the game, and coach Richard Pitino did not offer a specific explanation.

But the situation has turned seedy, with news that Dorsey tweeted two videos of himself and another man having sex with a girl on camera.

The tweets have since been deleted by Dorsey, but apparently not before they were seen.

Here’s a comment from the forums at Gopher Hole.com, which for fair warning is fairly graphic.

I saw both of the videos. I apologize for being graphic but here it what I saw. In the two videos, two guys were double teaming a girl from the front and behind. In the second video, there was a different girl and Dorsey was taking the front while the other guy was doing her from behind. You could clearly see his face although he is the only one that I could see. Both videos were extremely graphic.

Here are Pitino’s post-game comments:

Dorsey’s face is apparently the only one seen on the videos in question, so it’s still unclear if Mason and McBrayer had any involvement in creating them or if their suspensions were completely separate. It’s easy to tie the three suspensions together, given the timing in a short window before tip-off of a game. But until more is known, or confirmed publicly, Dorsey is the only player with some level of acknowledged implication for the sex tape incident specifically. Criticism of Dorsey’s actions starts with immaturity and bad judgement, and the other two players will get the scrutiny they are due if they were involved somehow.
